I can't help but wonder...
After a bit of a search, Sawyer finally reached me. I felt pretty relieved when I saw him riding up the road, I had not seen a familiar face in what seemed like an eternity...However, I don't feel entirely at ease....
Franel weighs most heavily on my mind. It's strange, has no one but us heard of our small noble home? Maybe my paranoia is unjust, but...
I just want to see that everything is all right. I want to know that my family is safe, that nothing has happened, that this is just some horrible fluke and that we can return to normalcy...
But...something tells me...
Worrying about it won't fix anything. Sawyer and I will wait here until Pearl and Andrew arrive. Once they reach us, we head off towards Franel with all due haste.
...Only time will tell if something has happened to our home.
